My fearless Grand daughter

Yesterday I sent the kids outside to play...it was unusually nice!
They played outside till it was dark, which I loved because I had a lot of time to go over a story I had forgotten about. My best friend brought it to my attention.....thanks! :)
The kids came in and I asked if the chickens were inside the coop yet. They usually go in as soon as it starts to get dark. Well...LOL...let me tell you what happened. My granddaughter decided that she would go out and close the door to the coop. She gets the flashlight and her brother and they go out to close the door on the menacing rooster from hell and his brood of hens. All of a sudden I hear the loudest screaming I have ever heard in my entire life. I go running outside to see what the hell is going on. There, standing in the middle of the chickens pen is my granddaughter screaming her head off. its so loud that the entire neighborhoods dog population is barking and howling. I tell her to get out of the pen. Go through the gate...Go through the gate...OMG go through the gate. I am standing there looking at her and shes screaming for no reason. All the chickens are inside the coop. She probably scared the shit out of them...LMAO But she won't stop screaming. Shes petrified. LOL She was speaking in tongues, she must have learned that from her brother...LMAO shes shaking and screaming and she won't move. I had to go into the coop and actually turn her around and guide her out the gate. All the while she is screaming so loud that inside my head is vibrating. OMG!!!
I get her into the house and ask her what she was screaming about? The chickens weren't even out in the pen with her. She said that the rooster jumped at her with his claws. I couldn't help it. I laughed. She wasn't too happy about that. She went in her room and slammed the door, saying "Its not funny"...yes it was. She was hysterical for no reason. I asked her brother if the rooster was even out of the coop and he said no. So she was terrified of the rooster and didn't even see him. OMG that is too funny. I know, I am a mean Gramma...LOL She came out of her room later and we talked about it...she still didn't think it was funny. But I can't stop laughing at the sight of her standing in the middle of the coop screaming her head off at nothing but a memory of the rooster chasing her or she made up a scenerio where the rooster was going to get her.
Good lord she is going to be terrified of roosters the rest of her life now. LOL
But I got to give that kid credit...she was brave enough to offer to close the door. Bet she never does that again...LMAO
