Haiti Officials

Yesterday I was watching the news and you know that bar that runs across the bottom of the screen with tidbits of news…all sorts of partial news is written there. I guess its to give you an idea about what’s going to be on the news in full news story. Well…OMG…this is what I read on that damn ticker tape thing at the bottom of the screen. Which, by the way, takes away from the screen and whatever the people are doing.

In lieu of the approaching rainy season Haiti Officials’ are urging the homeless to return to their destroyed neighborhoods.

Are they serious?????? I was so shocked at what I read that I waited for it to come back around just to make sure I didn’t misread it.

What exactly do these officials expect the homeless (which is one of the key words in that sentence) to do? Leave whatever shelter they have made for themselves and go back to a destroyed (another key word) neighborhood. Its pretty obvious that the officials know the neighborhoods are destroyed because they used the word destroyed. Why on earth would they go back to something that is not there? AND! Isn’t the fact that its destroyed what made them homeless in the first place. Are these officials dealing with a full deck? Wait! I have a better idea. Why don’t all the homeless find out where these officials are living and go over to their neighborhoods. Camp out in their yards for awhile. Are these the same officials that misused the money that was sent to Haiti in the first place?

Why don’t the officials go to the destroyed neighborhoods and stay there awhile? Maybe then they can see for themselves that the neighborhoods are indeed destroyed!!!! Talk about stupid. What kind of moronic thing was that to say? Go back to the destroyed neighborhoods. Dumbass! Oh excuse me…dumbasses!
